I must admit it took a few days for it to sink in that Greg is really responding to the IL-2. I guess we had prepared ourselves that a response at this point might not be our path. We do still have an unknown journey in front of us. As one good friend put it when they heard the news, "Great! What about the other 50%?" Nonetheless, it has been a week of grateful prayers. Dr. Srinivas decided that she wanted Greg in for more treatments as soon as they could be scheduled, which ended up being this coming week (Oct 10-16). So we have been cramming in all of the Fall craziness that we can:
Cross Country Finals
First cousin's sleepover in the newly finished playhouse, complete with a morning tea party, of course.
Back to School Night Time Machine
Pinewood Derby - where once again Beth Walburger's delicious cakes were the real winner. (littledelightscupcakes.blogspot.com)
It is ORHS homecoming week so of course the senior float is being constructed in our garage
In the meantime we are still attempting to "eat more healthy." Maybe I have not eased the kids into our new diet slowly enough. The morning after I made tacos with meat made from nuts and vegan cheese, I found this grocery list taped to my computer. What? They have not been fooled by the agave nectar?
