If you know my extended family, then you know that no matter what inconsistencies life brings, PGY lives on (even despite Kieri moving her family to Carmel). Otherwise stated: "In this world nothing is certain but death, PGY and taxes." The only thing significant to report here is that while Kambria is certain to have been in more PGY shows than any other living child, she has now moved on and is a PGY instructor, co-teaching a class with Miss Caitlyn....break into "the circle of life..."
In other January news, project "landscape the Porter's backyard" is in full swing. We got smart and finally hired a contractor. The installation of the largest palm trees was a worthy enough event for the kids to be pulled out of school to observe. And if only we could fill up the Sacramento Valley with salt water, we could feel like we were in Hawaii all the time.
We drove up right when they were installing/planting (?) the tree right where your driveway splits. The kids were loving the cranes. Don't worry, the way things are going in this state you'll have an ocean front view before you know it!
